into the private and intimate details of
people’s lives. We may be asking them questions
no one else would think of, and because of our
unique perspective a feng shui
consultant notices and pays attention to
details others would overlook. Primarily I
consider that a Feng Shui Practitioner is
a position of trust.

The course is delivered through distance education with the addition of one-to-one telephone sessions, or in the case of students close by, in-person meetings. Frequency of sessions depends on your schedule and how quickly you want to finish the course. It could be weekly or twice a month: Feng Shui Studies flow organically with what you need as you are going through the lessons.
The Core Curriculum of the course consists of 3 modules. A Feng Shui Practical must be completed for each of the 3 Modules. Mentoring sessions are a course requirement and all course assignments must be completed before certification is awarded.

Core Curriculum
Module 1: Foundations
of Feng Shui
This first module provides an
understanding the basic building
blocks of working with the energy of
our surroundings:

The foundation principles of Chi and Yin/Yang

Feng Shui of the Environment (Form School feng shui), the timeless and practical ways to determine the most optimal positions for interior and exteriors, including layouts, shapes and proportions, colours and design features

Remedies used to balance and create harmonious energy. You will understand what ‘cures’ to use, when to use them, and why they work
-
An overview of the history of feng shui as a living art with ancient origins.
Module 2:
Feng Shui Colour
Since colour choice often figures so prominently in feng shui consultations, and it is one of the quickest ways to shift energy in a home or office, in this course you will get a firm grasp on what colours do, where they should be used and why. You will learn:

How the colours in your environment interact with your personal energy field, so that you will become more aware and sensitive to colour

Colour properties and the effects they have on us, both emotionally and physically

How to use colour in partnership with feng shui principles of the bagua map and five elements; using colour in an intuitive free-form approach

Colour palettes and determining which colour families occupants feel most comfortable in

The best colours for each room and how to resolve disagreements on colour preferences within a home or office.
Module 3: Five Elements and the
Bagua Map

life. This module includes:-
How to use the bagua map as a tool to explore the history and patterns and in so doing learn the potential of the bagua map as a tool for deep transformation.

You will have the opportunity to do an in-depth exploration of the 9 areas of the bagua map as they apply to your life, so that you can see how to use the theory of the bagua map at an advanced level with your clients.

Five Element, how they work with the Bagua Map, Making Five Element Adjustments, Integrating Five Elements and the Bagua Map.
Module 4: Feng Shui Practical
Register for Module 4
Put it all together to do feng shui consultations from intake, the assessment, recommendations and enhancements and follow-up. You will be required to do three feng shui evaluations and submit written reports (if doing consultations by distance:

A feng shui consultation that establishes your knowledge and application using the Form School
-
A feng shui consultation demonstrating proficiency using Colour and feng shui theory
-
A feng shui consultation using the principles of the Bagua Map and Five Elements.
